Our Story
The journey of Max Gold began in 1994, when our founder witnessed firsthand how hard it was for everyday people to get a fair price for their jewellery. Local pawn shops lacked transparency, and individuals were consistently losing 20-30% of their actual gold value.
We introduced non-destructive German XRF technology to Tamil Nadu, ensuring gold is tested right in front of the customer without damaging the piece. Today, we handle thousands of valuations monthly, driven by that same foundational promise of honesty.
